Ulcer gastric și duodenal în acutizare, profilaxia recidivelor.
Tratamentul și profilaxia ulcerelor simptomatice gastrice și ale duodenului (gastropatia AINS, stres, ulcer postoperator).
Pancreatită cronică în perioada de acutizare.
Dispepsie funcțională, asociată cu hipersecreția sucului gastric.
Esofagita de reflux, esofagită eroziva.
Profilaxia hemoragiilor tractul ui gastrointestinal (segmentele superioare).
Sindromul Zollinger-Ellison.
Prevenirea aspirației sucului gastric la anestezie generală (sindromul Mendelson).
